One of my friends showed me SFML, and it worked out of the box and was cross platform so I'm sticking with it. I was going to rewrite it in C++ using the Allegro libraries, but I could never get them set up correctly across my multiple platforms, and it started having issues on the platform it originally worked on. That will definitely be added in a near-future update as I plan to continue development(Although not as fast).Īs for creative mode, no it is not currently implemented, but I will likely implement that in a future update as the survival aspect is still in its very beginning stages. I realized at the point of finishing that I had not given the user the option to change the inventory button.

Kudos on the work.Ī couple things I would like to see implemented is:ġ) The ability to change the button to open inventory (I like the old 'i' instead of 'e')Ģ) A faster walking speed or double tap to run.Īnd I didn't see it, but is there a way to use a creative mode? I also used 2 very nice images from a user on deviant art: Just to clarify, I do not take credit for ANY assets used in this project, I only claim to have written the code. Saying so, I do give full credits for all arts, concepts, and audio to notch/Mojang's game Minecraft. It is heavily inspired by minecraft, at the least. I have yet to hand this in so I will not be releasing source code yet, eventually though.
